Easy Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball Recipe Post Preview: You’ll find an easy-to-make cheese ball recipe that is perfect for holiday appetizers, parties, or a fun surprise for a family night at home. There is a printable version of the recipe toward the end of the post.

While I have gone to have a minimal amount of dairy as of a couple of years ago, I sometimes splurge and have as much dairy as I want. At times, everything is all good, and other times, I’m going to be miserable. If I’m going to do it, then, I want it to be worth the potential discomfort later.

The one thing that usually makes me splurge on dairy is something like a cheese dip or cheese ball. Most cheeses I could take or leave, but put together a soft cheese dip and set out some crackers, and I’m set.

This Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball is an easy recipe to put together and full of flavors. It’s perfect to whip up as a quick appetizer for upcoming holiday parties or football games.

Chicken Bacon Ranch Cheese Ball Directions

If you don’t want to form this into a ball or are in a hurry, you can place the finished recipe in a decorative dish and serve it as a cheese dip or cheese spread instead. Yum!

1. Add your softened cream cheese, dry ranch seasoning mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and onion powder to a large mixing bowl.

2. Combine the mixing bowl ingredients well either mixing by hand or with a hand or stand mixer. (This is my stand mixer. She’s red, she turns 10 years old next month, and I love her.)

3. Add bacon, green onions, and chicken into the mixing bowl. Combine into the existing mixture. You may need to knead the mixture with your hands at this point.

4. Roll mixture into a ball by hand, making sure ingredients have been well combined.

Don’t want to make it into a cheese ball? If you prefer not to make a cheese ball, just make sure your ingredients are well combined and then place into a decorative bowl instead of making a ball.

5.Place cheese ball on a plate (or your cheese spread in a bowl) and chill in the fridge for about one hour.

Serve and enjoy!
