What seasonings would I add if using plain rice instead of the already seasoned rice?

  2. Constance Reply

    How much water?

  3. Alking Reply

I could not find the rice either so I used plain white rice and more seasonings and it was absolutely delish, I’ve made a few times more.

What seasoning did you add? The recipe does not really call for any since the rice is supposed to be seasoned.

I sub Uncle Ben’s Long Grain & Wild Grain rice recipe for the Knorr mix. Turns out delicious!

I want to try this recipe but can’t find the rice side packet anywhere. I think it’s discontinued or something. Any ideas on what else I could use??

I substituted coconut milk for whole milk and used Knorr’s Chicken rice instead of the spinach and artichoke rice. It came out delicious!

I also can’t find the Knorr Selects spinach artichoke. I checked Walmart and Publix. I’m just going to use plain rice and add my own favorite seasonings

I cannot find the Knorrs Spinach and artichoke packet either. Can you offer a substitute? Otherwise I am going to add 1 .5 cups of rice with some cheese and fresh spinach maybe?

    Thanks.

I tried it with a box of Rice a Roni long grain and wild rice and it was delicious! You could probably use any flavor you like!

    Can I use almond milk?

    • Kailamai Reply

I used half a cup unsweetened almond milk to test it out and it made it too sweet. I then added more chicken stock to counter it. I didn’t like how it made it taste. Once I countered it, it was amazing!
