Lasagna Cooking Instructions — Amici's East Coast Pizzeria (2024)

To finish cooking your lasagna at home follow these easy instructions:

If your lasagna is frozen, thaw it in the refrigerator for 36-48 hours before proceeding.

Conventional Oven Method:

  • Preheat oven to350degrees

  • Place the lasagna (without the container of sauce) in a small,ovenproofpan;

  • Cover the lasagna with foil and place in the oven

  • Cook the lasagna for about 20 minutes until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees (remove the foil if you wish to brown the top)

  • Meanwhile, heat themeat or marinarasauce in a small pan on the stovetop until 165 degrees

  • Remove the lasagna from the oven – BE CAREFUL – IT WILL BE HOT – and slide it onto a serving dish

  • Pour the sauce over the lasagna

  • Garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese, if desired

  • ENJOY!

Microwave Method:

  • Remove the lid from the lasagna container and remove the small container of sauce

  • Place the lasagna, still in the plastic container, in the microwave

  • Cook on HIGH for about 5 minutes, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees

  • Meanwhile, heat themeat or marinarasauce in a small pan on the stovetop until 165 degrees

  • Remove the lasagna from the microwave – BE CAREFUL – IT WILL BE HOT – and slide it onto a serving dish

  • Pour the sauce over the lasagna

  • Garnish with parsley and parmesan cheese, if desired

  • ENJOY!
