SAN MARCOS, Texas –Texas State softball hosts its second tournament this weekend as part of its first 12 games of the season being inside Bobcat Softball Stadium.
The Bobcats will host the TXST Tournament starting on Thursday which runs through Sunday. In the four days, the 'Cats will play six games against Texas Tech, Tulsa, Sam Houston and Northern Colorado.
Texas State is coming off a five-win weekend in the first tournament weekend of the 2024 season. The 'Cats had a combined no-hitter vs Northwestern State, a walk-off win against Creighton, freshman pitcher Maddy Azua toss 12 K's, and head coach Ricci Woodard hit her 800thcareer win.
