I’m not kidding when I say my family drinks soju like it’s water. My family parties real hard so we used to do tequila but after many many bad experiences with tequila, we’ve decided to refrain from the terrible feeling of tequila and stick to a yummier and less percentage alcohol, soju!
Ever since then, my family has been drinking soju at every gathering and party! We tried out this 3 ingredient sprite yakult soju drink and make it by the gallons now! This drink is very yummy as a non-alcoholic version too! We have little kiddos in our family so to include them, we make a version without the soju alcohol!

WHERE CAN I FIND THESE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this super easy co*cktail can be found mostly anywhere now! Yakult is a yogurt probiotic drink that is usually found in Asian grocery stores but I’ve started to see them in local grocery stores like Superstore, Safeway, Costco and Walmart! You can get the soju from the liquor store and it’s best to get the yogurt flavour so it’s extra creamy tasting! Sprite literally available everywhere or at least something close to a lemon/lime soda!
WHAT ARE THE INGREDIENTS?
The ingredients to make this soju co*cktail are:
- Yogurt Soju
- Yakult
- Sprite
- Ice (of course!)
WHAT EQUIPMENT DO I NEED?
You don’t need any equipment really! The beauty of this recipe is that you can literally dump the ingredients into your glass/pitcher and that’s it! Serve over ice and enjoy. You can make it as you serve it but it holds great in a pitcher too so if you’re hosting, you can make a huge batch!
CAN I SUBSTITUTE/ADD ANYTHING OUT?
You sure can substitute/add anything you’d like to this recipe! If you want to add some kind of fruit or syrup, you sure can! I can imagine adding some strawberry syrup into this would be delicious!
If you don’t like super sweet drinks, you can also just swap the sprite for lemon/lime sparkling water! It is a super sweet drink for sure!
As for the Yakult, I would keep it as is! Yakult is what makes this soju drink what it is. You can however swap the yogurt soju for whatever soju is available to you. There are lots of flavours of soju that you can enjoy!
WHAT DOES THIS SPRITE YAKULT SOJU DRINK RECIPE TASTE LIKE?
So this drink is super sweet but it’s also very very creamy and carbonated from the sprite! Everyone that I’ve served this to so far has loved it and I end up making so many batches throughout the night.
If you love creamy and sweet drinks, this one is for you!
HOW LONG DOES IT KEEP FOR?
This drink actually keeps well overnight so you can make it the night before the day you’re hosting and it’ll be just as yummy. The Sprite will lose carbonation so if that’s important to you, you can just whip it up the day of. You can also just put the soju and Yakult into the pitcher and add in Sprite before serving! This drink is so easy, you don’t need to prep it so I haven’t tested it for more than a day in advance. I’d say a day max for the freshest results.
INSPIRATIONS FOR THIS RECIPE?
The inspiration for this recipe actually came from a Korean BBQ restaurant. Strangely enough, my family went out for dinner without me one night because I was busy and they were raving about how delicious the soju co*cktails that they ordered were. I asked them to describe what was in it and was so jealous that I needed to try and blindly recreate it!
I searched the internet for easy recipes to see what others put in theirs and I came up with my own super easy version! Although it’s probably not the same, my family enjoyed it and we’ve been doing these ever since!

Ingredients
- 2 Yakult
- 1 Oz Yogurt Soju
- 1 Cup Sprite
- Ice
Instructions
To a large glass, fill your cup to the top with ice
Open up 2 small containers of Yakult and add them to your glass of ice
Next, add in 2 oz of Yogurt Soju
Lastly, top up the drink with Sprite to the top
Serve and enjoy!
