Basic Information

Star Platinum: The World (commonly shortened to "SPTW") is the Stand of Jotaro Kujo, a major ally in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable. Star Platinum: The World is a close-ranged Stand just like its original counterpart, still sharing many of its traits. However, it sports more damage overall, greater speed, and longer time stop length.

How to Obtain

Star Platinum: The World is obtained by using an Arrow on Standless with a 1% chance. Another way to obtain Star Platinum: The World is by Trading.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

• Good damage output.
• Decently low cooldowns.
• Good durability.
• Good combo potential.
• 7 second Time Stop.
• Time Stop Movement.
• Y deals incredible damage and is un-avoidable.
• Great mobility. V can also be used without your stand on.

Cons:

• Limited moveset, making Time Stop reliant.
• V cannot escape a barrage, as movement to accelerate cannot work since a barrage traps the user.
• Struggles against stands/specs with greater mobility.
• Time Stop can be canceled by Return to Zero.
• Somewhat predictable.
• Easily countered by zoners.
• Has one of the worst block in the entire game, despite having an A in durability.

• E (Hold)+V (Easy, same thing as R+V but with a barrage instead of a heavy punch)

• Star Platinum: The World's pose music is: "The Stardust Man Appears".
• Star Platinum: The World used to have A Bizarre Day's original model, but was later remodeled.
• Star Platinum: The World is the only Star Platinum variant with its own unique pose.
• Star Platinum: The World is the Stand Jotaro Kujo wields in Part 4 of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Diamond is Unbreakable.
• Star Platinum: The World cannot actually stop time for 5 seconds in Diamond is Unbreakable, as it was only able to stop time from 0.5 to 2 seconds. However, it is set to 5 seconds for viability purposes by the A Bizarre Day developers (however it is now set to 7 seconds due to the Stands Awakening developers changing it).
• Star Platinum: The World was once a pretty rare stand, and was said to be the highest value and demand Arrow Stand in A Bizarre Day Modded. In the revamp, he is still rare, but not as valuable as before.
• Star Platinum: The World's old obtainment method was using a Shiny Arrow on Star Platinum: Stone Ocean with a 1/200 chance of success. Now it is obtained by using an Arrow with a 1% chance or by Trading.
• Star Platinum: The World is physically weaker than its prime in canon, but it actually does more damage due to being a buffed version.
• Despite Star Platinum: The World having an A in durability, it has a very weak block probably due to being a clone of Star Platinum (Stone Ocean) when it was initially created.
• You cannot TS dash leap with Star Platinum: The World in Stands Awakening, unlike A Bizarre Day. This is because jumping is disabled. However, you can bypass this by peforming a roll then using dash. You can TS dash leap by pressing C + V + Space very quickly. It works the same way, but is more difficult to perform due to the combination of 3 keys and quick timing.
• Star Platinum: The World's Time Stop length got buffed to 7 seconds for unknown reasons, probably to make up for the removal if its beatdown exclusive to Time Stop.
