Pay schedule

Baylor Scott & White Health is on a biweekly pay schedule. Under a biweekly payroll schedule, employees receive a check every two weeks, which equals 26 paychecks per year. Payday typically falls on a Friday (with the exception of payday occuring on a holiday).

The pay period begins on the Monday before a payday at 12:01 a.m. and ends two weeks later on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. If you are hired in the middle of a pay period, you will only be paid for the hours you worked in that pay period.

  • Example: If you are hired on April 10, you will only be paid for applicable hours worked between April 10-23. These hours will reflect on your first paycheck on April 28.

For hourly employees

Any consecutive hours that cross over from one pay period to the next will count towards the pay period in which you clocked in.

  • Example: If you clock in at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, and clock out at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, April 10(next pay period), all hours worked on that shift will accumulate in the pay period ending on April 9.
