Professor Woo was the sweetest professor I have had so far. She is extremely organized and is always available if you need help. We had about 11 short quizzes, 4 discussion posts, a midterm and final papers that were doable. I highly recommend taking her. She was great!

Great, great professor. EXTREMELY organized and clear course. Could not have gotten through such a condensed course without her preparation and encouragement. Handful of quizzes, and two papers that are your exams.

You have short weekly quizzes. She gives amazing feedback and is very understanding. I took this class as a GE requirement and it was pretty easy. You have essays throughout the course but they are very easy to write. She records the zooms so it is not necessary to go to class but I would recommend watching the Zooms if you are not able to.

Super easy class taught by a great professor. The way she teaches makes the class simple to follow, making it near impossible to fail. I learned a lot from this class compared to what I thought I would. If you need to take this class to fulfill the GE requirement, I 100% recommend taking her. Very kind, smart professor.

Overall great professor. Her class is very organized and is very interesting. She is attentive to her students and the assignments done throughout the semester are engaging. Weekly quizzes. You will need to write some papers and do some research, but nothing too extreme. Lots of time to do the work so you do not get overwhelmed.

She had online zoom discussions that were not mandatory to attend because she recorded them if you didnt attend. She just talked about the assignments for the week, if you had any questions and to discuss the material to get a better understanding. Lots of reading some were interesting and some were hard to finish. Weekly quizzes that were easy.

Her summer classes by far the most organized class ive taken since i transferred to csuf last fall. Took 2 classes in 1 session and this class was not difficult at all.

This professor is such a sweetheart!! The course was online and asynchronous which made it so you could complete the course at your own pace. There were weekly discussion posts that you need to complete followed by a 5 question quiz but the quizzes are extremely simple.There is also very little hw. The lectures were very simple and straightforward

Professor Woo does an amazing job of simplifying an online class. Each module is laid out in a simple manner and you are able to go at your own pace. She gives good feedback, and the readings are not heavy at all. You can tell she loves teaching and it shows!

She was the sweetest professor I have ever had. She genuinely cares about you and wants you to succeed. You only have to do a certain amount of discussion posts that are not too long. You also have a weekly quiz. The most amount of writing are the exams which are simply short essays, but if you pay attention to lecture, it really is not difficult.

Professor Woo was my favorite teacher! Her lectures are super easy to follow and all materials relate to her discussions/quizzes/tests. Discussions & quizzes are weekly and the tests are a long take-home essay but the grading is easy if you demonstrate your knowledge of lecture materials. I really liked the feedback she gave for all assignments too

Professor Woo is such a nice and caring professor! There are weekly discussion posts (you only need to do 5 out of the 10), some quizzes here and there, and she records her lectures, which I def recommend you to watch because she goes more in depth which will also help with papers and exams.

I hate history, but she made this class so easy to follow along. She gives 5-question quizzes every week (super easy) + you only have to respond to 5/10 discussions throughout the semester. You do have to write a 4-page essay for your exam but if you write notes during lectures it's cake. Trust me when I say take this class. (She is so also sweet)

Dr. Woo is not a bad professor, but she struggles with clear and consistent grading. I was reduced to tears at several points throughout this class because the grading was inconsistent with the criteria provided in the syllabus. I have taken other AMST courses at a higher level and did not struggle half as much in those. Take another professor.

Prof. Woo has been great. She gives a lot of intentional and meaningful readings. You will write a lot and she does grade kind of strict, but her criteria is direct and she gives a lot of great feedback. She is super nice and always available for questions. Her lectures were so much fun. I loved this class.

Prof Woo is one of the nicest and most understanding professors. The class consists of 10 quizzes/discussion post and a paper for the midterm/final. Her grading for the paper is kinda ehh but besides that no complaint. I did not put in that much effort in the class but if I did an A is very doable.

Prof Woo is hands down one of the nicest and caring professors I've had. Straight forward grading criteria which consist of a small quiz every week, a midterm, and a final. Just watch the lectures and you'll get a good grade.

Professor Woo is the literal best. She is kind and her lectures are concise and short. She deeply cares for her students and I HIGHLY recommend taking her!!! 5 Discussions, mini-quizzes every week (5Qs super easy), midterm was writing paragraphs on 3 topics, and just take her!!!!
