Bliss balls, also known as protein balls, are great little energy suppliers. They are also easy to prepare and serve as a healthy snack option for on-the-go.

Here are three reasons why bliss balls are great and actually good for you. We’ve also included a delicious recipe to provide you with the necessary energy to kick your daily goals.

They are full of nutritional benefits.

Bliss balls are usually created with a base of nuts and seeds, which contain a lot of healthy fats and are rich in fibre and protein. Almonds, for example, are a good source of vitamin E, magnesium and vitamin B2. The high fibre and protein content will keep you fuller for longer and helps to keep your blood sugar stable.

They don’t contain processed sugar.

Bliss balls are a healthy snack alternative because their sweetness typically comes from dates or dried fruits. That means they come without processed sugar. Bliss balls serve perfect as a pre-workout snack, little sweet treat after a meal or a quick breakfast on-the-go.

They can be prepared in advanced.

Another benefit is that they only need 10 minutes prep time and can be easily prepared in advance – stored in an airtight container in the fridge they will stay fresh for two weeks. Whenever you need a quick energy boost, bliss balls are the ideal ‘grab and go‘ snack.

Want to try your own bliss balls now? Look no further, our Wonder Bliss Balls with chia seeds, almond & shredded coconut will be your new favourite snack.
